As we said this is a home designed by a well known achitect for his own family and thus it is plenty of ingenous solutions such as this. The 3rd bedroom has access from the main house as well as from the exterior and it can make a completely separated apartment with its own entrance.
A separate self contained apartment located in the garage level makes a fantastic servant quarters or independent apartment with bedroom and lounge/kitchen area.

Also, in the same level, there is an architect studio with bathroom and with this garage level comunicated with the house by an elevator. In this level, there is also room to park at least two cars completely covered. The house has a gas system that feeds the underfloor heating and provisions have been made to heat the pool which has a winter rolling cover to maintain the temperature.The house has a hot water system with solar panels and boiler providing for the UFH and the general hot water for the whole house allowing very low cost, thoughout the year, for the winter connected to the gas system.

 The flooring is made of very beautiful stone tiles as well as wooden floors on bedroms wich made a very low energy consumption in conjunction with the excellent general insulation.
